<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required till opening by making an expansion amount of a skin material 19 itself small until a fragile part 19a is opened by a deployment pressure in an energy absorption device at a side part of a vehicle, provided with an airbag unit 21 at a neighborhood to a side part in a seat covered with the skin material 19, in which the fragile part 19a openable by receiving the deployment pressure of the airbag 24 is provided on the skin material 19. <P>SOLUTION: Low expansion sheet members 38 are respectively provided on the back surface of a first skin material extending from a seat rear side toward the fragile part 19a through a seat width direction outside, and on the back surface of a second skin material extending from the seat width direction central side in the seat front side to the fragile part 19a. A notch groove part 33 (breakage starting point) serving as a starting point where a pad 15 starts to be broken by receiving the deployment pressure of the airbag 24 is provided on a portion corresponding to the airbag unit 21 in the pad 15 provided on the inside surface of the seat of the skin material 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
