<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant monitor and control apparatus in which a changed position of monitoring information can be easily detected by comparing an unupdated monitoring information database with an updated monitoring information database and displaying a difference between both the databases on a monitoring picture, and a method for displaying a change in the plant monitoring databases. <P>SOLUTION: An arithmetic processing means 11 is provided with: a database installation means 111 for storing monitoring information in a storage device 12 in each sort of databases, separately into a first database before updating and a second database after updating, and installing a third database to be used; a database comparing processing means 112 for comparing the first database with the second database and selecting the difference; a control information processing means 113 for receiving a control signal of a controller 2; a monitoring data processing means 114 for processing control information as monitoring information; and a picture display processing means 115 for displaying the monitoring information on a display means 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
