PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control cable setting method for setting a vibration control cable on which a helical rope is wound beforehand, in the construction field. SOLUTION: According to the vibration control cable setting method, the vibration control cable 14 is formed by spirally winding the helical rope 37 on a main cable 35, and the vibration control cable 14 having an SUS band and a cover member 55 mounted thereon, is wound on a drum 12, followed by transporting the vibration control cable 14 wound on the drum 12 to the construction field.
