PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor bolt for preventing rust from being generated along the concrete top end on the outer periphery of a projecting part, by easily removing concrete stuck to a male screw part, by easily and surely knowing the installation height to a form and the placing height of the concrete. SOLUTION: An outer peripheral surface of a part reaching below the top end of a concrete foundation from the upper end, is covered with a synthetic resin coating film 7. The thickness of the synthetic resin coating film 7 is set to the thickness capable of threadedly engaging a nut 14 with the male screw part 5 still in a covering state. The synthetic resin coating film 7 forms a major part 8 for expressing a distance from the upper end by a crossbar 10 and a figure 11 and adjusted to a set position of the form upper end and a set position of the foundation top end.
