PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process of detergent particles, wherein water-soluble alkaline inorganic salt nuclear particles are surface-treated to form detergent particles; specifically the formation of particles of large grain size is suppressed and detergent particles formed have excellent blocking resistance, and also to provide a storing process for the detergent particles. SOLUTION: The production process of the detergent particles comprises surface-treating water-soluble alkaline inorganic salt nuclear particles and includes following steps. The heating step comprises heating water-soluble alkaline inorganic salt nuclear particles. The step of obtaining the first surface-treated particles comprises adding an aqueous solution to the warmed water-soluble alkaline inorganic nuclear particles.
