PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator control system for automatically controlling operation, by analyzing a use frequency, by storing an operation state in a specific period of an escalator. SOLUTION: A detecting frequency of a passenger detected by a passenger sensor 8 arranged in the vicinity of a boarding and alighting port, weight detected by a weight sensor 9, and an image from a monitoring camera 10, are stored with every date, weekday and time for specific period, The operation state of the escalator is analyzed on the basis of storage of this specific period. An operation schedule data table 6 for setting the operation direction, an operation speed, automatic operation time and an operation tendency, is made by an operation schedule data making means 5.
