PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretching method and a stretching device for a stretching body such as a net by which the stretching body such as the net can be smoothly stretched as for partitioning or preventing from balls in any space. SOLUTION: In the stretching method of the stretching body in which the stretching body is stretched and moved along the guide wire by arranging the stretching body such as the net used for various kinds of object in indoor or outdoor spaces in a guide wire and moving a winch wire arranged parallel to the guide wire using a winch, the stretching body is hung along the guide wire, stretched and moved along the guide wire while adjusting longitudinal distance between the winch wire and the guide wire and the weight of the stretching body when moving the winch wire.
