The re-releasable and re-adherable hook or fastening device comprises a base plate (2) which on its rear side has an adhesive film and on the front side a hanging device (3). Also on the rear side the base plate has needle-form support elements known as stoppers (6), and through the interaction of the smooth surface with adhesive (5) and the stoppers on the fastening surface (1) the load holding capability of the fastening device on rough surfaces such as ingrain wall paper or rough plaster can be increased.
