The conveyance has a footboard (10), and a rear wheel that is connected by a rear axle rod. A steering rod (40) is connected with a front wheel (32) by a frontal axle rod. A drive is formed as a catch propeller or a ratchet propeller by the steering rod. The drive can be tilted for the impulsion of the front wheel and/or the rear wheel in a driving direction or in a direction away from the footboard. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for driving a non-motorized conveyance e.g. roller or kickboard.
