<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation structure of a bath unit, which is easy to operate during the installation, exchange and maintenance of a bathtub, is not damaged during the operation and has a sufficient heat insulation capacity. <P>SOLUTION: In the heat insulation structure of the bath unit to install the bathtub on a watertight pan, rigid heat insulators having the enough rigidity to avoid the substantial deformation against the pressure are plastered on the back of the bathtub and a rigid heat insulator disposed at an end section of the bathtub in a longitudinal direction among the rigid heat insulators is formed at a position with a distance from the outermost end of the other end section of the bathtub not exceeding the length from the outermost end to the other outermost end of the bathtub. Preferably, a soft heat insulator having the softness to show the pressure deformation against the pressure is further applied on a surface of the portion of the rigid heat insulator disposed at the end part of the bathtub in the longitudinal direction with a distance from the outermost end of the other end section of the bathtub exceeding the length from the outermost end to the other outermost end of the bathtub. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
