PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize downsizing and improvement of operability of a fixed beam type lock arm. SOLUTION: The fixed beam type lock arm 2 is arranged on an upper face of a female connector housing 1 in front and back direction, and a releasing lever 7 is arranged so as to become adjacent to the lock arm 2. A linking part 9 arranged at neighboring area of a locking part 5, an operation part 8 operated by a finger, and a fulcrum part 10 making the locking part 5 act in a direction of releasing itself are arranged on the releasing lever 7 and made to function in a manner of constituting a mechanical lever. In this invention, since the operation part 8 is arranged so as not to coexist with the locking part 5 on the lock arm 2, but arranged at external end part of the releasing lever 7, and the releasing lever 7 is made possible to release and move the locking part 5 at the neighboring area of the locking part 5 by making it link spotwise with the lock arm 2, the lock arm 2 is made possible to shorten, and the female connector housing is made possible to downsize while maintaining good operability.
