PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music-reproducing device which can improve operability when music is reproduced. SOLUTION: The music-reproducing device 100 is provided with; a hard disk device 14 to which music data to be reproduced are recorded in units of folders together with additional data; a music data reading part 16 and a music data reproducing part 18 which read the music data from the hard disk device 14 and reproduce the music data; an operation part 30 which receives a switching operation for switching a folder including the music data to be reproduced; and an additional data reading part 20 and a music data retrieval part 22 which specify music data included in other folders, as the next reproducing objects, when two or more folders are included in the hard disk device 14, and when only one folder is included in the hard disk device, retrieve music data, which is included in the folder and is other than the music data to be reproduced at this time, based on the additional data, and specify the music data thus retrieved, as the data to be reproduced next, when the switching operation is carried out.
