PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-allergic material excellent in preventive/therapeutic effects of atopic dermatitis and safety without fear of adverse effects. SOLUTION: The anti-allergic material contains a culture solution of Clostridium butyricum or an extract of the same as an effective ingredient. Or, the anti-allergic material comprises a culture solution of Clostridium butyricum or an extract of the same added with living cells and/or dead cells of Clostridium butyricum. The anti-allergic material using the culture solution of Clostridium butyricum or the extract of the same is excellent in preventive/therapeutic effects of atopic dermatitis and safety without fear of adverse effects.
