PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of high production cost because of complicated constitution of driving mechanism of an auger or an auger housing by enabling the auger housing to slide in the left and right directions and enabling two driving shafts of the auger with the same axial center or the auger to slide in the axial direction for varying length of the auger and the driving shaft of the auger and horizontal width of the auger housing in a conventional snow removal device varying snow removal width. SOLUTION: The snow removal device 1 crushes and scrapes snow falling and accumulating on a road or a rail road by turning of the auger 2 and throws it to the lateral side or the like through a snow throwing chute 3. A scraping part comprising the auger 2, the auger housing 10 or the like is divided into a plurality of snow removal parts 30M, 30L, 30R in left and right directions, and the divided snow removal parts 30L, 30R on both the sides are rearwardly and upwardly foldable.
