PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a touch panel provided as an input/output device in the image processor of an endoscope system. SOLUTION: An electronic scope 10 is provided with an operation part 11, an insertion part 12 and a connection part 13. The connection part 13 is connected to the front part 20F of the image processor 20. In the image processor 20, a prescribed image processing is executed to images acquired by the electronic scope 10. The touch panel 21 is disposed at the front part 20F of the image processor 20. To the image processor 20, a main monitor 30 where the images are displayed on the basis of the standard of prescribed video signals is connected. The touch panel 21 is constituted so as to be freely attached and detached to/from the front part 20F and is connected through a cable 40 to the image processor 20. Various kinds of signals are transmitted and received between the touch panel 21 and the image processor 20 through the cable 40.
