<p>A package spacer having a frame-like base frame section (2) and a projection frame section (3) provided in a projecting manner in an outer peripheral region on the front surface side of the base frame section (2). The package spacer (1) is constructed such that the surface of an outer peripheral edge section of a glass plate (6) is along a front surface (2a) of an inner periphery side region of the base frame section (2) and an inner surface (3c) of the projection frame section (3) surrounds an outer peripheral end of the glass plate (6). Also, the dimension f of the projection from the front surface (2a), in the inner periphery side region of the base frame section (2), to a surface (3a) of the projection frame section (3) is set greater than the thickness of the glass plate (6), and a back surface (2b) of the base frame region (2) is a flat surface. The package spacer (1) is used when glass plates are arranged in a vertical position.</p> |
