<p>A light beam scan device (1a) includes a light source unit (10) for emitting a laser light of 880 nm and light deflection mechanism (200) for making a light deflection element scan the light beam emitted from the light source unit (10) over a predetermined angle range. The light deflection mechanism (200) has a polygon mirror (210) as a light deflection element. The light source unit (10) has a light emitting source (20) formed by a laser diode and a lens (30) for guiding the light beam emitted from the light emitting source (20) as a converging light which is focused on the reflection surface (211) of the polygon mirror (210) or in its vicinity in at least one of the first direction and the second direction orthogonal to the optical axis direction.</p> |
