<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of connection, to obviate the need of using a special FPC, to easily and widely adjust correction width, to prevent malfunction from an open state of an engagement member, and to reduce the whole size in the open state to increase a packaging quantity. <P>SOLUTION: An engagement member 4 is attached to a housing 3 of a connector 1 with terminals contacting conductors 2A of an FPC 2 housed therein; the engagement member is provided with a plate part 4A having projection parts 4B engaging with hole parts 2B bored in the FPC, and a pair of arm parts 4C extending from both ends of the plate part and rotatably mounted to both sides of the housing; the rotation in the closing direction of the engagement member is stopped by a stopper 6 formed on the housing by making the plate part contact or come close to the upper surface 3A of the housing with the engagement member opened; and the plate part of the engagement part is rotated in a direction closing an insertion hole 3C of the FPC of the housing, that is, the closing direction to override the stopper; and the projection parts of the plate part are engaged with the hole parts of the FPC. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
