PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and an image processing program for eliminating flickering when a picture is switched and offering good operability. SOLUTION: In the image processing device, a related image is displayed according to the selection of a main menu icon. As an example, it is determined whether the display of the related image should be switched or not if a timer counting for each frame becomes a prescribed value (S29:figure 9, S41). If it is determined the switching is necessary, the display of the related image is switched (S31, S47), and if not necessary, it is not switched. The timer is reset when the selection of the main menu icon or the display of related image is changed (S33, S49, S61; figure 11). As an example, the selection of the main menu icon is changed quickly in a continuous way, the timer does not become the prescribed value, so the related image is not switched. Then, flickering of the related image is not caused by the menu selection, the related image can be switched easily without troublesome operation, and good operability can be offered.
