PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow double locking of a female terminal while maintaining a good waterproof function without any increase in the size of a connector as a whole or complication of structure. SOLUTION: A female connector C1 is provided with a female housing 12 holding the female terminal 10 and a seal material holder 16. A seal material 14 having a through-hole 14a is held in a seal material holder 16, and when the seal material holder 16 is completely mounted to the female housing 12, the seal material 14 is brought into close contact with the front face of the female housing 12. Under this condition, when a protrusion 25 of the female connector C1 is brought into close contact with the inner circumferential face of the through hole 14a in insertion of a male terminal 20 of a male connector C2 into the female terminal 10, each terminal is waterproofed. A double lock piece 16 is arranged in the seal material holder 16, and the double lock piece 16 doubly locks the female terminal 10 inside the female housing 12 in complete mounting.
