PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup feeding mechanism capable of smoothly moving an optical pickup without adversely affecting the optical pickup or a flexible wiring line connected thereto. SOLUTION: The optical pickup feeding mechanism 3 is constituted so that an optical pickup 2 is moved along a tilt-adjustable guide shaft 5 by rotary-driving a feed screw 4. One end of a flexible wiring line 15 having a U-shaped folded part 15A is connected to the optical pickup 2, and the other end of the flexible wiring line 15 is connected to a circuit board 20 fixed in a predetermined position. A protect cover 16 is fixed to the guide shaft 5 to press the flexible wiring line 15 between the optical pickup 2 and the circuit board 20, and a certain gap G is generated between the protect cover 16 and the surface of the optical pickup 2.
