DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM AND TERMINAL PROGRAM FOR THE SAME SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed control system having a plurality of terminals mounted with OS where the upper limit of the simultaneously available number of sessions is set for making the upper limit of the number of terminals for surely realizing the synchronization of files between terminals higher than the conventional manner. SOLUTION: Terminals B to J perform fixed cycle file access to a terminal A in order to maintain session for a file sharing service at all times. When set data are changed by the terminal A, a file update request is transmitted to the terminals B to J. The terminals B to J which have received the file update request acquire a set file from the terminal A by using the session. The terminal A is always provided with one empty session. This empty session is used when it is necessary for the other terminals to log-in the terminal A again for any reason. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
