PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the residual potential of an electrophotographic photoreceptor and to heighten the sensitivity. SOLUTION: A hydrazone compound of formula (1) and a benzidine derivative of formula (2) are incorporated into a photosensitive layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor. In the formula (1), R1and R2each independently represent an organic group; Ar1and Ar2each independently represent aryl; Ar3represents arylene; and m and n each represent an integer satisfying 0≤m≤5, 0≤n≤5 and 1≤m+n.
