PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint boot which can be easily molded and in the large diameter cylinder part of which an outer member can be easily inserted. SOLUTION: The joint boot 16 comprises the large diameter cylinder part 50 having an equal diameter portion 70 and thick portions 74a-74c on the inner peripheral wall. A first taper portion 72 extending from the equal diameter portion 70 ranges to a second taper portion 76 formed on the thick portions 74a-74c in the circumferential direction. The diameter reduced terminals of the first taper portion 72 and the second taper portion 76 are located at the same position. To the diameter reduced terminals, a thin portion 68 ranges which engages with an annular groove 40 provided in the outer member of a constant velocity joint. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
