PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic circuit for a cargo receiving plate lifter for securing high durability of a motor by minimizing burden on the motor during a time from a cargo receiving plate reaches the highest rise position till the motor driving a hydraulic pump is stopped. SOLUTION: In the hydraulic circuit, the hydraulic pump P to be driven by the motor M is communicated at its discharge side with a lift cylinder 6 via a first oil passage 80 with a check valve 81 and a second oil passage 83 with a selector valve 82 branches from the first oil passage 80 and is communicated with an oil tank T. The cargo receiving plate is lifted up and down with the telescopic operation of the lift cylinder 6. The first oil passage 80 located on the side of the hydraulic pump P beyond the check valve 81 and the second oil passage 83 located on the side of the oil tank T beyond the selector valve 82 are communicated with each other via a third oil passage 85 with a relief valve 84. The relief valve 84 opens the third oil passage 85 with external pilot pressure from the first oil passage 80 located on the side of the lift cylinder 6 beyond the check valve 81.
