PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gelatinous flying insect-attracting composition sustaining high attracting effects on the flying insects for a long period, hardly providing risk of leakage of a content fluid, and preventing the larva of the flying insect from being emerged; and to provide a flying insect-attracting kit using the composition. SOLUTION: The gelatinous flying insect-attracting composition is formed by using acetic acid, ethanol and raw sugar as the flying insect-attracting components, and water-soluble polysaccharides and/or a water-absorbing resin as a gelling agent. The flying insect-attracting kit uses the composition. Preferably, the attracting composition contains 1.0-5.0 wt.% acetic acid, 2.0-10 wt.% ethanol and 10-30 wt.% raw sugar based on the whole amount, and further contains the gelling agent formulated therewith.
