PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escape supporting device, capable of facilitating escape at the time of emergency in a restaurant provided with a circulation carrying passage. SOLUTION: This escape supporting device 1 is installed in a restaurant provided with a conveyor for carrying food and drinks forms a circulation carrying passage for food and drinks by combination with the conveyor. It is provided with a device main body 2 having carrying surfaces 4a and 4b for food and drinks on an upper surface, casters 50 to move the device main body 2 in the perpendicular direction to the carrying direction of the carrying surfaces 4a and 4b, partition means 11a, 11b, and 31, provided on the upper surface of the device main body 2 along the carrying direction of the carrying surfaces 4a, and 4b, and provided with projection members 15, 16, 35, and 36 of which tip parts are projected outward in the carrying direction of the carrying surfaces 4a and 3b from end surfaces of the device main body 2, and a fixing means 60 to fix the projection members 15, 16, 35, and 36 as they are projected. The partition means 11a, 11b, and 31 are provided with energization means 13, 14, 33, and 34 to move the tip parts of the projection members 15, 16, 35, and 36 into the end surfaces 2c and 2d of the device main body 2 by fixing releasing operation by the fixing means 60.
