PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain resin coated overlay decorative plywood having beautiful finish appearance without allowing grains of substrate plywood to appear on the surface thereof even if a film having high glossiness is used and especially characterized in that the product placed at a position 2 m under a fluorescent lamp at an oblique angle of 45°is clearly reflected without fluctuation even if the fluctuation of the fluorescent lamp imaged on the surface of the product is confirmed visually. SOLUTION: A base material such as plywood, MDF or the like, an adhesive sheet and decorative paper are successively laminated and, after the formed laminate is molded under heating and pressure, the surface of the decorative paper is coated with a synthetic resin. As the adhesive sheet, thermosetting resin impregnated paper, thermoplastic resin impregnated paper or the like, especially preferably a diallylphthalate type resin impregnated sheet is used.
