PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an centrifuge having an indicating device capable of displaying, in addition to operation information, an alarm for giving an alarm in case of a failure in the centrifuge and maintenance information for taking action against the display of the alarm, and its failure repairing method. SOLUTION: Alarm codes indicating a plurality of failures possible to occur in a driver 4 or a rotor 3 of the centrifuge and maintenance information relating to the alarm codes are stored in a storage section 65. A control circuit unit 6 executes the first display step of displaying an alarm code stored in the storage section 65 when a failure occurs during operation and the second display step of displaying at least one status of maintenance information corresponding to the alarm code displayed in the first display step based on input of a maintenance person having a certified cord beforehand registered in the storage section 65.
