PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved fishing electric reel mounted with a speed-reducing mechanism consisting of a plurality of planetary gear mechanisms to effect improving the freeing performance of the spool to enable a tackle to be quickly unloaded. SOLUTION: The fishing electric reel has such a construction that a spool-driving motor is contained via a cylindrical motor case in a spool rotatably supported in between the side plates of the reel body and the speed-reducing mechanism consisting of the plurality of planetary gear mechanisms and functioning to transmit the power of the spool-driving motor to the spool is mounted in between the spool and the motor shaft of the spool-driving motor. In this fishing electric reel, the planetary gear mechanisms are dividedly arranged in the spool and the motor case or a cylinder installed integratedly in the motor case.
