ADDITIONAL DEVICE IN A CURRENT LIMITER FOR LIMITING CURRENT IN THE EVENT OF A FAULT
摘要
An additional device in a current limiter for limiting current in the event of a fault is comprised of an electric additional valve that is connected in series with and has the same conducting direction as an associated main valve. Two series-connected valve branches of this type having opposite conduction directions bypass two series-connected current limiter inductors. Both additional valves are each bypassed by an identical passively complex connection for limiting current in the event of a fault. The current limiter device is electrically not seen up to the nominal operation but, in the event of a fault even when the main valves break down, effectively limits the short-circuit current to a predetermined extent.
