The device has a mechanism checking seeding lanes (105) that strike a core (106) of a drupes fruit (114) in the case of an effective seeding process, on a pre-determined event to determine the profit of the seeding process. The mechanism uses x-ray to check the lanes and checks whether the core passes to a pre-determined position. The mechanism has roentgen source (100) to send x-rays and a sensor (101) to receive the x-rays. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a method of checking profit of a seeding process of a drupes fruit (B) a computer program with program codes for implementing a method of checking profit of a seeding process of a drupes fruit, when the program is executed in a computer.
