The swing door has a door panel (1) as a box-shaped half-shell (5) of steel plate and a plate cover (6), bent into shape to form a hollow interior and the rabbet (7). A reinforcement plate (8) is fitted at the inner side, with a width extending into the rabbet. The hinge sections (2) of door strips (3) have angled strip folds (9) inserted into the inner side of the rabbet, and fastened to the reinforcement plate. The rabbet has a support core (10) with a cross section which fills the rabbet as far as the reinforcement plate, and gives a laying surface for the inserted hinge strip fold. The support core has blocks (11), fitting into the rabbet profile, held in place in a clamped fit or by an adhesive. |
