<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting diode lighting device capable of restraining the destruction of a light-emitting diode even if the light-emitting diode is erroneously connected in a reverse direction, and a lighting fixture equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a direct-current power source 39 supplying a direct-current voltage for having an LED series circuit 4 emit light, a current detecting part 37 detecting a current level of an output current supplied from the direct-current power source 39 to the LED series circuit 4, and a PWM control part 38 making the direct-current power source 39 output a detecting voltage as a voltage level lower than reverse withstanding voltages of light-emitting diode elements 41, 42, and changing an output level of a direct-current voltage by the direct-current power source 39 so that a current level of the output current is a constant current level for light emission in the LED series circuit 4, in the case that the current level detected by the current detecting part 37 is lowered to a preset reference level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
