<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a card suitable for reduction of thickness. <P>SOLUTION: On the connector device in which a card having a stepped part 5a on both upper face edge part thereof can be inserted, a housing 4 is constructed by a base member 2 made of synthetic resin supporting contacts 1 capable of being connected to external contact parts 10 formed on a lower face of the card 5, and a cover member 3 made of a metal plate integrated with the base member. An upper side regulation part 3A for regulating upward movement of the card by contacting the upper face of the stepped part 5a of the card is formed on the cover member 3, and a lower side regulation part 2A regulating downward movement of the card 5 by contacting the lower face of the card is formed on the base member 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
