<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management system using links by which unified management of various documents is performed. <P>SOLUTION: This system can access a document (file) main body via a file management system of an OS. On the document (file) main body, an attribute file 4 by the system is given to a document managed by the system. It is called Wrapper system. Each attribute such as file names, editing tool names, document names, keywords, reference/referred, path names is stored in the attribute file. The attribute file is created when the document is registered in the system. Various functions of the system indicated as document managers are realized using the attribute file. As functions, there are, for example, management 6 of the attribute file, automatic classification display 7 by attributes, file retrieval 8, visualizaion 9 of the links, generation and maintenance management 10 of the links and variety of classification structure 11, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
