AUTOMATIC TRANSLATION METHOD, AUTOMATIC TRANSLATION SERVER DEVICE, AND AUTOMATIC TRANSLATION METHOD USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic translation system capable of holding conversations smoothly with an unknown partner.

SOLUTION: A language recognition means 31 recognizes an inputted sound language while referring to a language database 33, specifies it, and executes conversion into an intermediate language. A language translation means 32 executes conversion into a language to be outputted from the intermediate language while referring to the language database 33. The language database 33 is a database for the language recognition means 31 and the language translation means 32 to make references in executing language recognition and conversion. A language storage means 34 stores the variety of a language to be inputted to a subscriber terminal connected to the system and provides the language recognition means 31 and the language translation means 32 with language information on the subscriber terminal whenever necessary. An intermediate language accumulation means 35 temporarily accumulates an intermediate language to be generated as a mediation at language conversion.
