<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-cure inflation apparatus capable of correcting uniformity in response to every one tire without impairing the appearance of a tire, and a method for correcting the uniformity using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The post-cure inflation apparatus 20 comprises a rotary part 22 for rotating a pneumatic tire 10 around a tire center axis, a RRO measurement part 24 for measuring the RRO of the pneumatic tire 10 attached to the rotary part 22, a press part 26 for pressing a tread part 18 of the pneumatic tire 10, and a control part 30 for controlling the pressing pressure of the press part 26 based on measured data from the RRO measurement part 24. The pneumatic tire 10 directly after vulcanization is attached to the rotary part 22 and rotated around the tire center axis to measure the RRO by the RRO measurement part 24. When a region required to correct the uniformity arrives at the press part 26, the control part 30 makes a rotation speed of the tire slow and increases the pressing pressure of the press part 26 based on the measured data from the RRO measurement part 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
