<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming controller device and a printer device capable of efficiently performing memory access in accordance with the number of colors composing image data to be processed; DMACs (203, 205 and 603) respectively switch a master ID issued in accordance with the format of the image data set in image format registers (303, 307 and 702); and a memory controller 106 determines a memory access command issued to a RAM part 112 according to the master ID received together with a memory access requirement. <P>SOLUTION: The DMACs (203, 205 and 603) respectively switch the master ID issued in accordance with the format of the image data set in the image format registers (303, 307 and 702).
