<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image in a region where image preparation processing is executed in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: When processing is started, an ROI(interested region) is decided according to the designation of a user (a step S81). Then, a small calculation amount image is prepared in response to the pointing device operation of the user (a step S82), and the prepared small calculation amount image is displayed (a step S83). Then, the multi-calculation amount image of the ROI is prepared (a step S84), and the prepared multi-calculation amount image of the ROI is displayed (a step S85). Then, the multi-calculation amount image in any region other than the ROI is prepared (a step S86), and the prepared multi-calculation amount image in the region other than the ROI is displayed (a step S87), and the processing is ended.
