EDIT CONDITION SETTING APPARATUS AND EDIT CONDITION SETTING PROGRAM FOR PHOTO MOVIE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edit condition setting apparatus and an edit condition setting program for photo movies capable of relieving a load required for the entry of edit conditions carried out by a customer in the case of placing an order of the photo movie.

SOLUTION: The edit condition setting apparatus sets a cut-out region for an object of cutting out a still picture when the zoom effect or the pan effect of displaying part of the cut-out still picture with magnification is selected at the entry of edit conditions for the photo movie. The apparatus automatically sets the cut-out region on the basis of the position and the size of a face image by detecting the face image of a person from a particular object region designated by the customer in advance. The cut-out region has a proper margin in a way that the face of the person displayed with magnification looks good and the apparatus can easily create the photo movie with high quality wherein the image is zoomed or panned on the basis of the face of the person.
