<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detector for a moving object capable of reducing an influence of the geomagnetism, while restraining an installation space, a weight, and a manufacturing cost from increasing. <P>SOLUTION: An MR element chip 7 is provided in a bus bar 4 through which a detected current flows.
