PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite type heat exchanger preventing accumulation of internal stress in a core part. SOLUTION: Since a first tank part 5b and a second tank part 9b sending out fluids with different temperatures are separated, each of them can be moved in a thermal expansion direction (a flowing direction of the fluid). Accordingly, even when there is heat distortion due to a difference of thermal expansion between a first core part 4 and a second core part 8, the heat distortion can be released, and accumulation of internal stress due to the heat distortion is prevented. Since corresponding ends of the separated first tank part 5b and the second tank part 9b are coupled by a coupling means 11 capable of relatively moving only in the flowing direction of the fluid, a coupled state is maintained in a direction other than a direction mainly causing the heat distortion, and influences to the first core part 4 and the second core part 8 due to irregular changing of positions of the first tank part 5b and the second tank part 9b can be avoided.
