PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a user, and to increase the security or convenience of a scan service. SOLUTION: A scan device includes an operation panel, a scan executing means, a scan service providing means 50 for providing a service related with scan and a job ticket storing means 54 for storing a job ticket 100 related with scan including the certification information of a user. The scan service providing means 50 requests an authentication service providing means 60 which provides a service related with authentication to authenticate the user based on certification information 103 of the user included in the job ticket stored by the job ticket storing means 54, and the scan executing means executes scan in accordance with scan conditions 102 included in the job ticket 100 selected by the user through the operation panel.
