PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine which executes the print processing of image data by controlling so that an overwrite area is not added if double-side print processing is set in the divided printing of image data received by fax. SOLUTION: When the print processing is started (S101), a data size is measured for each of image data to be printed (S102). If the measured image data size is larger than a paper size of an output paper sheet, divided printing is executed. If double-side printing is set as a printing method (S104/Yes) when executing the divided printing (S103/Yes) as a result of measuring the image data size, a system control unit of the facsimile machine performs the print processing without adding the overwrite area that is added in ordinary divided print processing (S105, S107).
