PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermittent recorder for preventing abnormal measuring data (singular point) from escaping while suppressing consumption of recording paper. SOLUTION: The intermittent recorder comprises a process input signal for inputting a process signal from a monitored object, and a calculation control device having a data storage processing section for sampling the process signal from the process input device with a sampling processing section to store the data in chronological order, and a processing section of the stored data. The intermittent recorder has an auto mode function of calculating the intermittent cycle based on the measurement cycle and chart speed and printing it. In printing in the auto mode, the data management of the maximum value and minimum value is performed in a recording cycle by the calculation control device, and the maximum value and minimum value are printed.
