PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the price of a contact device for four-probe measurement. SOLUTION: Probes 6 for four-probe measurement, each comprising an inside relay piece 8 and a peripheral relay piece 10, are housed in respective probe housing holes 4 in a probe housing board 2. One end of each of coaxial cables 54 is inserted into and fixed to each of cable holding holes 52 in a cable holding board 50 so that end faces of the cables are substantially flush with the principal surface of the holding board 50. The holding board 50 is positioned relative to the housing board 2 and fixed so that the relay piece 8 makes elastic contact with the core 56 of the cable 54 while the relay piece 10 makes elastic contact with a shielded wire 60 by energizing force of springs 22 and 14 in the relay pieces 8 and 10.
