PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure the rotating speed of a cage 9c while preventing the run-out of the cage 9c to prevent noises or vibration with the run-out. SOLUTION: The inner faces of pockets 18, 18 of the cage 9c are covered with hard synthetic resin liners 19, 19. Other portions than the liners 19, 19 are each formed of an elastomer such as a hard rubber easily deformable to some extent. In this construction, when gaps between the inner face of each of the pockets 18, 18 and the rolling face of each of rolling elements 8, 8 are smaller, the rolling face of any rolling element 8 is prevented from strongly abutting on the inner face of the pocket 18 in spite of the different revolving speeds of the rolling elements 8, 8. The application of unreasonable force to portions of the cage 9c is prevented to prevent the run-out while making the gaps smaller. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
