PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rollers with a retainer with a high load capacity, in which the rollers and external roller stopping sections are brought into contact with each other during operation. SOLUTION: The retainer 1 comprises a ring-shaped section with a diameter greater than a pitch circle diameter of arranged rollers, rib sections 3 and 4 axially extending to a bore side from both ends of the ring-shaped section, pockets 6 which are formed on the ring-shaped section by lining up in a peripheral direction and form pillar sections 5 and in which the rollers 2 are internally inserted, a means for preventing pulling-out of the rollers to a bore side of the retainer, and roller retaining pawls 7 located between adjacent rollers, in which the means for preventing pulling-out is extended by folding from both bore edges to an axially internal side of the rib sections 3 and 4. The distance of the pillar section 5 and roller 2 positioned between the pockets 6 is smaller than the distance between the roller retaining pawl 7 and roller 2. If setting D as a diameter of an inner diameter surface of a housing 10, d as a diameter of an outer diameter surface of the retainer 1, X as the amount of projection from the outer diameter surface of the retainer, and Y as the amount of sinking from the outer diameter surface of the retainer, the relationship D-d<X and Y>0 can be established.
