PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase memory access throughput, especially access throughput to a cache memory, by efficiently using a channel access path between a channel I/F part or a disk I/F part, and a shared memory or a cache memory. SOLUTION: A channel I/F part 111 or a disk I/F part 112 is able to access a shared memory part 114 through a selector part 113. The channel I/F part or the disk I/F part is connected to the selector part 113 through an access path 0 135, and the selector part is connected to the shared memory part through an access path 1 136. The selector part comprises a means to mutually connect a plurality of input ports from the channel I/F part or the disk I/F part with a plurality of output ports to the shared memory part, a means to store a connection request from the plurality of input ports to the output port in the order of arrival of the connection request, and a means to intervene a plurality of connection requests and to assign the connection request from the input port to each output port.
